1. Type cmd on run command or in windows 7 Search
2. Type ipconfig/all
3. Find you LAN MAC

Lets start..
Login to your modem's GUI  192.168.1.1 as USER:USER
Look for your current MAC Address and Generate Admin Password DOWNLOAD WIMAX TOOL to generate Admin Password.


Steps 1.

login as
USER: ADMIN
PASSWORD: (Password Generated)

Step 2

Click Advance - ACL
Then Unchek WAN
Click Apply

Step 3

Click Maintain - Device - Configuration
Then click Download Configuration File
Click Advance Download Configuration file

Step 4

Rename file extension with this format .xml  

Why  we rename it ? 
To edit and see color coded script if you don't want to change file extension format just open with WORDPAD

Step 5

Edit each downloaded config  downloadconfigfile and downloadcarconfigfile.
Edit the default user:user login and make it a admin  user so you don't need to genearte password from MAC address . Just change userlevel  2 the default is 1

You can  also edit  telnet user and password here. look for "TelnetUserName" and "TelnetPassword"


If you want to edit PACKAGE DATE  just look "PackageDate" and edit it

SAVE them after edit

How to CHANGE MAC Address Huawei Wimax BM622m PERMANENT

Download Pass Gen or WIMAX TOOL V6.5

Step 6.

Go to http://192.168.254.1/wimax/security.html apply user and pass generated.
